Frequently asked questions
Got questions? I’ve got answers! Whether you’re new to virtual assistants or just curious about how I work, these FAQs will help you understand how Awesome Admin can support your business.
Where can I hire a Virtual Assistant?
Well, you’ve already found one right here! 🙋♀️ Awesome Admin is based in Chirk, supporting small, service-based business owners across Wrexham, Shropshire, North Wales and beyond. I offer both remote and local on-site support—so whether you’re down the road or across the UK, I’ve got you covered.
What does a Virtual Assistant do?
Think of a Virtual Assistant (VA) as your business sidekick. I handle the admin, the organising, the scheduling, the chasing (yes, even invoices!), and the general day-to-day tasks that eat up your time. My goal? To free you up so you can focus on the parts of your business that light you up—or finally clock off at 5pm guilt-free.
How does a VA Work?
I work alongside you (virtually or in person, if you’re local), picking up the tasks you want off your plate. You don’t need to provide me with a desk or even daily instructions—I take initiative and get things done. We’ll agree on what you need, I’ll track my time using Toggl, and you’ll have peace of mind knowing everything is being handled.
What VA services do you offer?
From email and diary management, to bookkeeping, social media, and systems setup—I offer a whole range of admin support to help your business run smoothly. You can view the full list of services here. If there’s something you don’t see, let’s have a chat—I often build bespoke packages too.
How can a VA help your business?
By giving you back your time, reducing stress, and helping you feel more in control of your workload. Whether it’s ticking off overdue tasks, keeping on top of client comms, or streamlining your systems—my job is to help you run your business more efficiently, and actually enjoy it again.
How do I know what tasks to delegate?
Start with the things you put off, dread, or just never get around to. Those tasks that steal your time but don’t move the needle? Hand them to me. If you’re unsure, we can go through it together on a discovery call—I’ll help you work out what’s best to pass over.
How many hours do you need to do a task?
Every task and client is a bit different, but I work quickly and efficiently. I’ll give you an honest estimate based on your needs, and you’ll only ever pay for the time I actually work—tracked and recorded using Toggl.
How do I know you’re doing the work?
Good question! I use time-tracking software (Toggl), and I’m happy to provide a detailed monthly breakdown of the work I’ve completed. Plus, you’ll see the results—things actually getting done, without you needing to chase!
What if there’s a task I need done that isn’t included on your list?
No problem! If it’s within my skillset, I’ll happily take it on. If not, I might be able to recommend someone trustworthy who can help. Either way, just ask—I’ll always do what I can to support you.
How long is my commitment?
I ask for a minimum commitment of three months. This gives us time to get into a rhythm and for you to really feel the benefits of working together.
Do you offer discounts for a trial period?
While I don’t offer discounts as such, I do offer a paid one-month trial so you can see how we work together without jumping straight into a long-term arrangement. After that, it’s a minimum three-month commitment.
What do you need from me to get started?
We’ll start with a short onboarding process—either a quick form or a call (your choice!). Once we’ve agreed on your package, I’ll send over a contract and invoice. As soon as they’re signed and paid, we’re off! You’ll get regular updates from me, and I’ll keep things ticking along so you don’t have to.
What if I’m not happy with your service?
I’m confident you’ll love working with me—but if something’s not working, I want to hear about it. I’m always open to feedback and happy to tweak how we work together. Communication is key, and I’ll do my best to sort things quickly and professionally.
Will you do a trial period for free to check we’re a good fit?
While I don’t offer free trials (this is my full-time business, after all), I do offer a paid one-month trial so you can test the waters. We also have a friendly onboarding call first to make sure we’re a good fit before anything is set in stone.
